Re: TT 2018 Thread
Been avoiding this thread to not find out results but now I'm all caught up that stock race was insane and so so happy that Hicky got his 1st win! Unbelievable to come back from a run o that cost him 11 seconds and then losing 5 seconds in the pits, he was proper on it. Insane the stoxkwr was that close to outright lap record!
Remember: If in Doubt use Full Throttle, It may not make the situation any better, But it will end the suspense...

Which catch up service can I watch this all on? I was Offshore so didn’t get to see any of it. I normally watch it on iTV4 through a VPN but the wifi offshore isn’t good enough to steam.

Re: TT 2018 Thread
Been avoiding myself as was in Cyprus at the time so just been catching up.
Wow!!!!!!!!!!
Hicky and Harrison moved the game on big time and you could clearly see it on the road. They brought short circuit style and aggression to the island. Great to watch but at times I was scared for them and can only see more fatatlies if people keep pushing lap records. Lap records can be chased on a short circuit with gravel traps and run off but on the road mistakes or over ambitious moves are punished harshly.

Re: TT 2018 Thread
Total insane
I mentioned to Jess that they’d cracked a 135mph lap. She thought that was the max speed for the lap. When I explained it was the average and converted it to kms (217) her mouth dropped and she finally got it.
She’s been the other side of 200km on the back with me a few times so I think she finally realised how mental the TT is!

Re: TT 2018 Thread
I love the TT because it is the longest , fastest , most dangerous , most exciting racing on the planet , yet despite all that and the technological advances in bikes and tyres it is a very old school event that is essentially some blokes with bikes in vans and an awning or tent who have come to try and beat their best time over the TT course , even the "works" teams are basically the same they just have a bigger van and a bigger tent .

Re: TT 2018 Thread
Are there any tyre rules in the TT or can you use what you want? I’m guessing there must be certain rules for certain races.
