I like the Lomo stuff, they do a fully waterproof tankbag, it's a shame they dont have a locking system - the magnetic one
looks ok, but......

Exactly the thing i'm looking at. The bag will fit on the street inline with the seats and stick out over the rear light (above not covering) by a few cms only.
The debate is which colour - luminous might be fun
My overboard rucksack is still going strong 3 years later. That must be at least 30,000 miles. It's very hard wearing, no faults and no leaks.

Right - i've ordered a Givi Tanklock Bag - i got it for half what i'd pay for a SW Motech one and they are quality kit.
I've also bought a couple of 40L Lomo Motorcycle Drybags with some Rok straps to make it easy to take them on and off (for clothes and stuff), so it should be more than enough - i reckon i can do a week with 50 odd litres of storage and Mrs Cookie can have one of them if we are away together.

I'm not sure Mrs Cookie will fit in one of those.

Looks like some good kit there. Well worth it in my opinion always comes in handy and to be honest I'm not a fan of back packs, always puts too much pressure on my wrists and makes my back ache

The trip I did to Phillip Island I took 2x 50L Ventura packs zipped together
I used half the stuff in one pack
And luckily bumped into a mate that had driven down so he took one pack and 70% of what I had taken and I didn’t need back with him so my 3 day ride back home was much lighter!

No just a tent, tarp, cook set, camping stove, gas, camping bed, camp chair, sleeping bag, dried food, water purification system, wet weather gear, clothes and my running kit.
To be fair I used everything except my running kit.
