It'll be tough for everyone. Sharing happy memories is very therapeutic.

Seeing Mount Fuji, albeit from a distance, was a very moving experience as I've always wanted to see it.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Lying in my own bed and enjoying the fact that I didn't have to get up at 5.20am (or earlier) after doing so for 23 days straight.
Been doing offshore for almost 4 yrs now and getting home still feels like Christmas every time. But getting home last night was especially good, Jess had unloaded her kids to their dad and was waiting at my place for me with a G&T poured and handed it to me as I walk in the door. Good lass that one!

Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

I'm firmly in the doghouse. I got back from a night out with my mate and my back is covered in Cat o' nine tails whip marks.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Just been with my brother to pick up a bike he's bought and one that I've wanted to ride for ages. I'm not covered by car insurance so I rode it back for him. It's a 1993 Yamaha VMAX, imported so has full power engine in it. I like it. The engine outperforms the brakes, suspension and chassis by a mile the front brakes are shit but he said something about a mod to put the decent R1 calipers on there, blue spots or summat...I dunno. Like the engine though, sounds great.
5 minutes after setting off from Wellesbourne though I got pulled by police doing an Op around Warks. The bike came up as having no insurance. My brother sorted the insurance before we left but the systems don't update until midnight, not as live as you'd think but anyway, all good. They checked my dark visor and it's illegal but just got told to change it, no fine. The Police were actually quite civil, the bike police obviously the better ones and we scrounged a coffee from their norgi too I'm surprised we weren't reprimanded for the exhausts and number plate because it's a 7x5 plate and the cans are Delkevic and you could probably get a fist in the opening. Loud as ****.

9 times out of 10 a good attitude when you're stopped equals a decent response from the 5-0.
