Not meaning to steal the thread here but I have tried to book up with shiny bike syndrome for November time and the pay system seems pretty craps to me. Your suppose to pay a deposit through PayPal however it doesn't give you an email address or name to which to pay to! I have messaged him just waiting for a message back. Seems messed up the new system to me!!

They are in Newbury are they not? If so there is a full web site with contact details, I would just call them on the phone mate and sort it.

Panic over Nooj eg shinybikesyndrome messaged me back earlier. Seems my phone must be working against his system! So I did it on my laptop and Bob's your uncle everything went swimmingly. Book up for end of November as I know he gets booked up quickly.

PS sorry for stealing the thread Kwacky

I wouldn't wait too long D6. They're busy this time of year so you need to get in quick. Give Andy a call or an email.

The grit bins have been filled up in some areas as they're expecting frost at the end of this month.

One thing I was going to ask, does he need access to your own water mains?? I.e. could I ask him to do it at works carpark, but there would be no mains water available. Does he bring his own supply?

I am moving house and it's all a bit hectic due to an absolute prick in the chain, so I've not booked anything until I know 100% where I am living

He can do it at your works place.

Having washed the bike this afternoon all I can say is that the money has been well spent. Overall the bike is looking really good. There are a couple of small bolts low down which could do with replacing and some cheap metal parts around the rear wheel but otherwise the treatment has done its job

I realise it's off topic Kwacky, but is there not an attractive aftermarket tail tidy available for the SX.?

....& to bring it back in line with the subject, I hate cleaning bikes.
Actually, that's not strictly true.. I resent the time it takes, as I never seem to have enough..
Anyway, I'm saving up the cleaning of my 675, for when I meet Spudda. (He likes cake & beer, right.?? )

Yes, there is a tail tidy and the OEM is ugly, but with the number of unmarked police cars I pass I'm going to leave it as standard at the back.

I hate bike cleaning as well. I think I've spent 2 hours this afternoon cleaning the bike, swapping the cans, cleaning and lubing the chain.
