Re: Mrs Trump
I'd let D41 run the place and he can look after British interests. I liked a lot of what I heard Bernie Sanders say but I can understand he might not appeal to the Bible Belt. No one will make a bigger **** up than Trump.

I like this idea!!
However, I'm afraid my disability (possessing a conscience) might hinder me.
Does have nice perks to it though.

What are the perks of having a conscience please, I've always understood it to be inherently hindering.?D41 wrote: I'm afraid my disability (possessing a conscience) might hinder me.

Isn't anyone not born in the USA precluded anyway.?

A month or so back, anyone here you asked would happily tell you the same thought of thing about Farage. He won.!

Nothing 'supposed' about them at all. It's what suits me and I'm generally very content with life at the minute. I wasn't for a very long time......bad marriage, obsessed with making $$$, etc.....just about drank myself into an early grave.
The usual story.

Re: Mrs Trump
Yes....but that's just shock journalism/entertainment. Anyone can get Joe Public to say about anything they want once they stick a camera in their face.
Why is everyone so concerned about who the next US President will be?? I'm not, and I fecking live here.
I think there's a misconception in the UK that there is a huge disparity between the Republican & Democratic Parties that mirrors that of the Conservatives and Labour Parties in Britain. There isn't....I really can't put it any simpler than that.

He's a madman. He's clearly lost the plot. He's saying he will challenge the result if he doesn't win the election.

Re: Mrs Trump
How has something as important as electing a leader of the Country degenerated into such a public session of mudslinging, insults and lies?
Is it any wonder the western world is so deep in financial shit?

Re: Mrs Trump
Very true. I'm not a fan of these TV debates/debacles.....I forget the one candidate quite a few years ago who put things across very well indeed...sommit along the lines of ...."I'm sure if Mr. ***** is elected, he will make a very good President and get my full support. I however, would make a better one". That had a level of decency & humility about it...this does not.duke63 wrote:How has something as important as electing a leader of the Country degenerated into such a public session of mudslinging, insults and lies?
