Probably wise, we can get a move on if we think the cake shop is about to close (true story).
I've got some tankslap business cards. If you want some to spread the word locally give me an address and I'll send you some. I hand them out or leave them on parked bikes.

Hello Lads and lass's
For anyone who doesn't remember me, i'm the good looking sense talking one from up north. I feel like i should say sorry for vanishing without a trace. Im sure you have all been worried sick............
I seem to be in what my brother terms.....'The Baby Fog'
I never truly believed it existed but it does. its a place men get absorbed into where everything they used to be disappears for a bit.
Bikes are a long way from my mind nowdays. Infact im looking to sell up. I wouldn't rule out getting another, but right now i feel like ive been unplugged from it.
I have been checking in from time to time just to make sure you are all in order and you seem to be surviving ok without me.

We've all been there mate. It is weird. A couple of years disappeared from my life.
My advice - only sell if you have to. There are going to be days when you want to get out on the bike.

Re: Introductions - Say "Hello" Here
I dont resent it or anything. its just all consuming. unfortunately my van died last september so i had to credit card myself a new one. Ive plenty of work in the offing so i could manage to keep it, i just cant stand having debt hanging over my head. I had a bloke coming round to see it , so i thought i better check she started up ok........( must have been 6 months since i started it) then i figured i best check it rode ok, so i had a load of spins round the block, and the old buzz started creeping in. so i parked it up and polished the hell out of it. I think my bottle has gone quite frankly.

Dude I had 4 kids in 5 years and now 8 years on still very rarely get to take a sh!t on my own. It's bloody hard but I bet you wouldn't change it for all the Busa chrome in Hamamatsu!
Welcome back matey, let the p!ss taking commence.

To be honest the first one is the hardest as it's the biggest step change in your life, the second was relatively easy and at three and four we ran home to mummy!

Welcome back Binno.
Enjoy your new found fatherhood, it's a magically time. But I agree with Kwacky, only sell if you really have too. There will be a time when you need to escape for some 'me' time. You don't need to go out and be mental on the bike, so don't worry if you feel you've lost your bottle, just cruising will still be emmensely therapeutic.

Do the people who are suggesting not to sell realise he owns a chromed up to the Max Busa
Sorry Binno but now you have proven your sexuality by fathering a child you need to let go off the Gay bling mate

Re: Introductions - Say "Hello" Here
Haha. You wankers. Probably not for the last time ...... There is no chrome on it. It's still the most awesome bike. Problem is it's so well designed you dont notice that you are doing a hundred and nobhead until you are wondering why everyone else is stopped on the m6.
I've toyed with the idea of buying a knackered zx7r to tart up and play around on. But right now I'm feeling pretty disconnected from bikes

Re: Introductions - Say "Hello" Here
Hi folks,
Baz from South Brum (although a scouser in a former life). Joined the forum after riding out with Kwacky today. I'm on the Z1000SX forum, but this one looks interesting in a slightly different way.
Had my SX for 2 1/2 yrs now but only been riding 5. I ride all year round, well with a cross city commute I discovered it cut the journey time in half
Have enjoyed a few weekend ride aways with SX lot, good times.
Someone mentioned baby fog...... Trying to find a life after having a Grandaughter far to early!
See you on the road.
Baz
