More this ^^ IMO.
also adding yet another barrier to trade with the rest of the world as all weights, measures, and sizes so have to be converted.

I was listening to Jeremy Vine the other day, they were discussing it. We all seem to use a hybrid system and have done for years. No need to f**k about with it now again!!!
A tyre man said we have been using mixed sizes for years for example 225/45R17
As you say anything to take the spot light off that dodgy twat in number 10
Interesting how the airlines and airports say Brexit is a big reason they are short staffed but the Govt refuse to allow them a special licence to employ European staff.
How do you fill staff shortages when there is a shortage of eligible staff?
And we have just spent 4 days in France looking at a potential holiday home.
The village where we are looking only has 600 inhabitants yet already has a car park space outside the Mairie’s with an electric charging point for public use.

Again this was discussed on the radio the other day, it is the data checking side of things that seems to be a problem. Similar to the DVLA where the body that issues this stuff is backed up.... so in turn is this. They cant get airside without the security checks even if they are fully qualified and ready to go until the green light is given. There seems to be a massive amount of fully qualified staff that cant do the job due to this red tape!!!!
Also I heard that many of the cabin crew who were laid off or on furlow have gone back to their native countries and not returned for what ever reason..... Bojo and his croonies have a lot to answer for in how this has all gone down on the back of Covid.
I think that's across the airline industry as a whole though....cabin crews have been laid off, they've gone back home, and they've found something else to do. I don't think you can hold Johnson responsible for that...it's basically happening everywhere.

I hold him responsible for everything because he is a lying C&*T!
Sadly, I think that's already a reality for an awful lot of people in the UK and the US. I'm moving to Wales and voting for independence (assuming they will let me).
We have been mirroring the States for a while now. Brexit makes it much easier to remove civil and workers rights. It'll soon be a hire and fire employment system like they've got in the US

Moving to Wales looks more and more the right move.
