I did a couple of drag strip style starts today away from the lights. Given that the bike is 230kg wet plus a fat brummie on top it's definitely fast off the line. Sadly I can't time myself.

I've done a search online and the bike does 0-100 kmph in 2.85 seconds. (shocked)

Zx10 engine retuned for lower down power and more Torque combined with a little more weight than a sports bike which will aid traction equals a very rapid bike.

I bet it will wheelie pretty easily then (y)

166 miles between fuel stops. I can handle that.

I thought I had drained the tank as the light was flashing for about 15 miles but I couldn't get 17 litres into the tank.

Filled up with super as well to give the big girl a treat.

thats good tank range ...

I can launch the blackbrid really well the weight and size helps it as it makes the bike feel a lot more stable

That's nearly double the range of the ten with the same size tank

It's a 19l tank on the sx. Isn't yours 17?

But yeah, the difference in range is something else.

I lowered the screen this morning. The wind blast hits you square in the chest. It does make the bike look more aggressive.

I think I'll be getting a double bubble screen in the near future to push the air over my head when the screen is raised. The OEM screen is a bit too flat when lowered as well so the DB should help deal with wind flow.

Rear suspension adjusted a touch too much. It was a bouncy ride into work this morning :D

Another 160+ miles on the clock before the petrol indicator started flashing. The range indicates I've got another 30 miles so I reckon it's possible to get 200 miles from a full tank.

Currently looking around for a double bubble screen. Undecided on smoked tint or black.

I'll have to do it tonight. Our firewall at work blocks about 95% of images. I can't see any photos on this site and when I google for an image it brings it up but then goes blank.

You get better food in a Chinese factory.

Loads of stuff is blocked. But twitter isn't. I have no idea what the policy is when it comes to deciding what they block. I can't get on any fitness sites.

I've noticed a strange noise occasionally when I pull away, like a buzzing noise. I thought it was something vibrating but a search online suggests this is common. It's to do with the clutch when the bike is cold. No one has found any issues from it.

One solution is to take the plates out and drill a hole in them to help the oil pass though. I don't think I'll be doing that.

When I used to ride off-road a lot back in NZ, it was quite common to pull the clutch basket and drill a series of 1/8 th holes in the sides. Used to help the cold clutch snatch and smooth out clutch use. This was on 2 strokers thou'. I would research well before doing on a big road bike.
