It does say 90 day returns on that link too...Kwacky wrote:Ebay
Again
I sent an item back. I had until 5th March. It was posted and signed for by 26th Feb. Ebay closed the return and now the seller is saying he won't give me my money back because Ebay closed the return. I've told him what my paypal address is but he's refusing.

Also it's got one of my pet hates - spelling mistake. Arriwals? That must have been like that for a year (as it refers to 2017).Kwacky wrote:Yep. With a valid return number. Which I've given him.
I guess you can open a dispute?
I use ebay less and less because of these issues - we lost thousands on a jukebox years ago that a crooked buyer returned broken and with bits missing. I tend to buy things under £50 there but others i try to avoid.
I hope you get it resolved.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
I can't open a dispute as ebay have closed the transaction. There isn't an option to reopen the return. I can't use the paypal resolution system because it's an ebay transaction.
He should simply reverse the paypal transaction.
I've had to take to twitter to get ebay to look into it.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Finally got it sorted. Ebay admit that the process is buggered but surprise surprise the system they had in place before was being abused.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Earlier was in my course and someone from the hotel came in and asked if I could move my car as some builders were going to be working in the area I parked, turns out the wankers have dented the wheel arch...
It's a hire car......
With a £1000 excess for any damage.....
Sods law says it's in the blind spot of the cctv

CT sorry to hear that mate. Hope they managed to capture it on CCTV, unless the builders owned up to it?

For future reference you can go online and insure against the excess pretty cheaply.Cavetroll87 wrote:Earlier was in my course and someone from the hotel came in and asked if I could move my car as some builders were going to be working in the area I parked, turns out the wankers have dented the wheel arch...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
C#nts who park inches from your car so you cant get in and god knows how those tq@ts ever get out.
More annoying is the selfish sh1ts almost always do it when 30 feet away is a huge empty space but they cant be arsed walking 30 feet.
I honestly hold myself back if the twats were ever there when I was then fook knows where the red mist would leave us but I'm pretty sure they would regret it

That's funny.
I still don't know why you'd do that though.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Stupid fecking dipshit taxi drivers who don't look where they are going.
Followed a taxi into the gym carpark, guess he didn't can't to be there as he stopped and promptly reversed into the front wheel of the bike.
No damage done fortunately, but its the cheek of these people when they turn round and say "I wasn't reversing, you rode into me". I had not feet on the floor and was trying to find the horn ffs!
I have made him really late for his pickup though.

People who are in the middle of sorting out a mortgage and then turn round and say "oh will it effect my application if I sign a contract for my new car today that's £1400 a month?"
Yes.....Yes it will......
