Ugh, hope it's not too long a confinement, kiwi.

Today, I will mostly be saying no to people on dating sites.

Today I will mostly be wading through bundles of documents we've had in from the HSE on a multiple fatal accident on a building site.

And no doubt drawing up a list of the documents they've left out or I can't read because of the crap copying.

I think I've seen footage of that. Has it got some fat guy doing a dance and hanging on a wrecking ball? I knew it would end in disaster.

21 days, well night shifts to be precise. Long enough to catch it and either get over it or be medi-vac'ed back to Darwin. I'm middle aged and pretty fit and healthy-ish so even if I do cop it I should ride it out OK.

Prepping the bar for tomorrow night's impending beer call (forces speak for p***-up)
As a secondary duty I've been coerced into running the bar. Obviously they had to twist my arm!
But at £1 a can or £2 for a bottle of Real Ale, things are probably going to get messy.

And I'll still have change from a fiver!

Finished my 8 hours of work, now I'm sat at my desk completing Uni work for another 2 hours before going home and getting ready for football practice.

The joys of part time study with only 1 less module in a year than a full time student !!!

Last one in the office too..

Oh I miss those days I was the Junior Ranks Treasurer for 2 years. Shortly after that they decided it was more cost effective to give the bars to civi contractors as they were making too many loses with service personnel behind the bar

I'd do a stocktake/till run on a thursday and work out how much they had to make up over the weekend to break even because they'd been drinking the profits all week!

I remember the days when a short was 15p in the junior mess

Actually I'm surprised I can remember that as I usually didn't remember the night before come the morning

Usual day at work, nothing exciting.

Sports massage tonight, so I'll be bruised and hurting for the next couple of days.

What a waste, I do that on school afternoons. It's the only way I get through homework and the whinging about what I'm cooking for dinner.

I wasn't having a go mate, just lamenting that it's the technique I use every day other than school holidays

Well actually to be truthful, I have a few most evenings, school holidays or not, that I'm not at work. I don't get pissed, but 2 or 3 gins does take the edge of homework, dinner, baths and bedtime procedures!

Today I was trying and succeeding to be pleasant to a customer I've had to make a statement to our solicitors about. Funny how hypocritical I can be when I have to.
