Re: Pokemon Go
Well I missed out on the super incubators which would have been nice because I got 12 10km eggs in the equinox event. Wanted some 2km eggs because of Larvitar and Chansey.
Lucky eggs are good for getting XP and levelling though

Re: Pokemon Go
I rarely use them. I will use them when Gen 3 arrives and I've got a few new pokemon around me. I need to use them when I'm doing raids but I always forget

Re: Pokemon Go
Same here but apparently you only get 15k XP on a legendary raid and not 20k.. not sure if true though as I always forget too.
I'm quite excited about Gen 3, these are the games I spent most time playing. I really want a Treeko

Re: Pokemon Go
I know nothing at all about Gen 3. I didn't play the games, only watched the first couple of TV series.

Cav, I don't know if you're still playing but they've released Farfetch'd for a couple of days.

Yes still playing but not actively.. I just collect distance at my desk.
Not got a Raikou yet
Is Ho-Oh an exclusive or standard raid?

Re: Pokemon Go
It's a standard 5 star legendary raid. Looks like you need 6 7 good players for it. My local raiding group are going for their first one now.
Raikou finishes soon, you'll need to be quick. They're easy to catch. Im 3 for 3.

Re: Pokemon Go
Nice! Yeah I'll try and get one tonight/tomorrow. Gf really isn't fussed about it anymore but tends to just play out of habit.
When I know she isn't using her account I log in and get her distance in the hope that she hatches something good to then get her back into it. It's definitely not as fun as it has been

Re: Pokemon Go
This last event was good with the double stardust.
The Harry Potter version is due for release soon. That should kill off this game.

Re: Pokemon Go
Pokémon Go has pretty much peaked. I think we'll see the release of Gen3 and once that's been out there's not much more than can go with the game. Son release Gen 3, give it a couple of months then release the Harry Potter game. Makes good commercial sense to me.

Re: Pokemon Go
You're right, I thought about it after I'd written that and it does make complete sense.
In the first 6 months there were hundreds of people I knew playing the game, still a lot after 1 year. There'll be a whole new market for the Harry Potter game as well as many of the Pokemon players so for another year they'll be making millions

Re: Pokemon Go
Potter Go (or whatever they'll call it) will be massive, there are kids and adults who love the books and the films. I've read and seen none of them.

Re: Pokemon Go
I'm an absolutely massive fan so will no doubt play the game but I've never spent real money on this game and I sure as hell won't on the potter game

Re: Pokemon Go
Got an Ho-Oh. Took 2 attempts and hit it on the last ball. It's capture base rate is only 2%
