Virgin Media
Well after 3 failed installs, 12 hours on the phone, and enduring 3 weeks with no WiFi or TV as virgin told sky to cut us off too early through their persistent incompentence and inability for 2 departments to talk to each other its finally all over and we have virgin media installed.
Absolute debacle getting it install but so far I'm impressed just could have done without all the hassle.

Re: Virgin Media
Blade sorry to hear the constant cock ups.
At least you're live now and personally, I left Sky for virgin and wouldn't go back! Loads more free sport channels and with the TiVo HD box I've got more HD channels as well. Like I say personal choice.

I do hope your going to be having a very frank discussion with their customer services department about a few freebies to make up for the inconvenience caused.

Re: Virgin Media
Haha you know me too well Got an upgrade to a 1TB box and £100 credit out of them but that was before the last failed install so going to ask for more. I'm not being trivial chasing for compensation and I would rather they had just got it right the first time but I have waited in 4 days when I could have been earning or doing something else. Plus spent money on extra 3G and another months rental at BT as well as genuinely 12 hours on the phone alot of it to their 0845 number so god know's how much that will cost when the bill arrives.D6Nutz wrote:Glad your finally sorted mate, and just in time too..Blade wrote:Well after 3 failed installs, 12 hours on the phone, and enduring 3 weeks with no WiFi or TV as virgin told sky to cut us off too early through their persistent incompentence and inability for 2 departments to talk to each other its finally all over and we have virgin media installed.
