Hate politics

All those politicians who use division and hate as a means to gain power should be ashamed.
Society is now reaping what they sow.
America in the grip of race hate murders, some committed by people in positions of trust and power.
UK troops being sent to Eastern Europe to strengthen borders with Russia.
The pound plummeting like a stone to lows not seen in 30 years.
Newspapers printing shameful headlines designed to spread fear and mistrust.
Political parties using posters doing the same.
The UK about to have an unelected PM foisted on them.
The world needs a new kind of politics. And soon.

This is the exact reason so many 'acts of terror' IMO, people want change and are starting to realise they have a voice; it's just a shame that it has a terrible effect on people's feelings towards islam in most cases.
All the scaremongering really p!s$eS me off though, thankfully it doesn't affect me but it works on my girlfriend which is upsetting.

I wonder which US state will be the first to break down? These flash points are getting to be a common occurrence.

I feel your pain comrade.
I stopped reading newspapers 10 years ago, check out The Canary. It's a start!

None will. It would take much more than that.

Perhaps electing a maverick, unaccountable & exceptionally prejudicial President will do the trick for you..?
Given the shifting balance of power and wealth, together with a growing global "
social dissatisfaction", the world may be about as vulnerable now as it's ever been.?

I can't see it taking much for a city to start tearing itself apart given the divisions in society and perceived privileges for some and injustices for others.

I don't think it's ever as stable as people like to assume it is. And even then, most occurrences on a global economic scale effect them little beyond the price of fuel & housing.

It's not all that bad. Rumours of a new Ducati V4 superbike and an all new Fireblade next year. We've never had it so good to be fair

Sadly i don't think Corbyn is the answer. We need some strong leadership in opposition and that isn't him.
I can foresee a new centre party being formed from the left of centre Tories and right side of the Labour party.

Isn't that where the Liberals are supposed to be?

Yep....Libs are supposed to bridge the gap between the two ends of the spectrum. It's a nice Utopian idea I suppose, but to my mind you just end up with some very watered down rhetoric....which probably reflects in their staggering popularity with the public.
They're a political third wheel.
