Jack that was a very good thing to do. That owner must of been very happy you did that. I know I would of beenJack wrote:Stopped all the traffic on both carriageways of the A5 this morning , on purpose , there were 2 black labradors running around over both lanes , I couldn't leave them so got the car stopped and the hazards on then stopped the oncoming traffic an tried to catch the dogs while my mate phoned the police after a few minutes some guy appeared from a field and called them over . Both him and his dogs were very lucky its a 60mph limit there and used by a lot of hgvs .

Re: What are you doing today ??
Honestly I did it for my own benefit , if something had happened to the dogs or the dogs caused an accident I would have felt awful knowing that I could have done something and did nothing so the solution was to do what needed to be done , the result was a little lost time for the motorists on the A5 , 2 safe dogs , no accidents and me feeling ok about myself but a little disappointed in the number of people who drove around them before I arrived on the scene .

Re: What are you doing today ??
Worked from home today, bloody good job too.
Went to my daughters school assembly this morning, picked up the commuting machine at lunch time, and saw the physio this afternoon.
Looking forward to trying the commuting machine out tomorrow. It's had a new derailleur, and chain plus the old twist shift has be swapped fit a thumb shifter.

Laundry. Bike clean. Kitchen clean. Bedroom clean.
It's fairly safe to say I'm gonna spend the entire day cleaning.

Today was sorting a job caused by a customers own engineers doing crash repairs with a gas axe. Not good around nylon pipes.....

It's like a different bike, shifts both up and down are bang on and quick too. Very happy cyclist, 80 sheets well spent.Deegee wrote:[
