Within Temptation are great. Saw them at Wembley about 5 years ago and they were excellent.Stonesie wrote:

You might like some of their older tracks, "And we run" is one that keeps getting stuck in my head.

Re: What are you Listening to today???
Just listened to it.... it fairly rocks!!
Great vocal & drumbeat, and a good solid chorus that gives you that familiar "I've heard that before somewhere"-feeling. ...You probably have, but it's still good nonetheless.

Weird how you can hear snippets of an artist over the years and never quite get it...then you hear something that just clicks.
Heard this on Radio 6 Muisc last week. What a tune.

Re: What are you Listening to today???
It is a sentimental favourite of mine. When I did my para course in the Air Force I was one of two Air Force personnel on course with a 1st Battalion Infantry Army unit... read, 20 odd big burly Maori guys who had just spend 6 weeks in the bush. We were in an open dorm for a month together and there was one power point. The CPL had control of it and had a boom box. We woke up to that song every morning.StMarks wrote:One hit wonder, but what a toon.!

20 years later and I meet Jess, and she knows every word off by heart.

Podcast interview with Steve Parrish by a well known motorsports commentator here in Australia. But actually recorded in NZ at a classic race meet as it happens.
Brilliant listen if you get a chance
Rusty’s Garage has some great interviews, listened to a lot of these during my quarantine stays.
