Well, if a power with little care or empathy were to look at the state of the planet at the end of 2019 would this virus not have presented an acceptable tool.?
Wouldn't reducing the human overpopulation by taking out (mainly) the infirm, obese or aged leaving a reduced & healthier stock be a "logical" approach.??

It seems very likely that this virus is here to stay, and (based on the lack of success with SARS & the Common Cold) an effective vaccine may well never become available.

How long is it going to take for most of society to slip back into the "easy" ways of 1BC.

Initially you can see attempts to prevent spread will be implemented, however will it not be very soon undermined by society's desire for "easy, convenient & profitable" ?

Also, I wonder if any "death toll" over the last 6 months will be eclipsed by a huge spike in the birthrate @ 40 weeks from the lockdown period.?

And who wants to bet if we chose to use attack and trace system compatible with the rest of the world this wouldn't be the case.

Europe is co-ordinating border opening next month so i'll be able to travel across Europe again.

The only country operating 2 week quarantine? The UK. Therefore all European countries will reciprocate (facepalm)

Listening to reports on the news this morning, (not uk news outlets) that they reckon patient zero was first seen back in November in a French Hospital!

Over 40,000 dead. And still 2-300 a day dying.

A decent society would have been demanding sackings at the very top by now.

Who do you sack?? This has spread all over the world, without any consideration at all for "who's in charge."
Moreover, who do you replace them with... someone with even less experience??
It'd be like blaming a Bandaid for leaving a scar.

There isn't anyone with less experience of real life than Boris.

Unless you count shagging some blind bint, getting her up the duff and running away as experience. :D
