There's lots of support on social media for Cummings, work various reasons for his trip being mentioned:

His mum's birthday
His mum retiring
His uncle's funeral
His son has autism and needs to be with people he knows.

He won't bow to public pressure, but he will to internal Tory Party pressure if he doesn't want to be removed from office.

The twitter video of Cummings being heckled by his own neighbours as he walked home yesterday is hilarious.

If you need to travel 260 miles to find the nearest person willing to help keep you alive, you should start considering the possibility you might be a bit of a ****.

Douglas Ross has resigned as under Secretary of State for Scotland. He's said that he cannot defend what has happened.

"I cannot in good faith tell them (constituents) they were all wrong and one senior advisor to the government was right."

In two days, Cummings and Johnson have made lockdown and social distancing no longer possible.

They have collectively ruined it. However, the news this morning suggests that Covid has all but disappeared as hospital death and admissions rates are "close to zero".

What the bloody hell is the truth about all of this?!

The announcements yesterday relaxing lockdown took a load of pressure off the prime minister.

Its far from over. I know this is not the only hospital full to capacity.

I don't doubt that (although I refuse to click BBC links these days) I just don't understand what this cluster-fcuk is all about anymore. Contradiction after contradiction. I'm just doing what I want that I can exercise social distancing with and maintaining good hygiene to avoid transferring the virus if I happen to be asymptomatic.

I don't want to sound like I'm being reckless because I'm not, I'm very careful to not add to the risk.

Weston Hospital took the decision to close its doors when they realised that the beach was full. I've no idea if the hospital was full but they didn't want a load of walk ins from people who live outside of the area.

It would be a ridiculous move for Nissan to continue production in the UK if we leave the EU without a tariff free deal on their cars going into Europe.
Ironically it is in the EU's best interest to let us go "hard line, no deal" as the 10% WTO tariff will see Nissan move their production into an EU country.
But hey, blue passports.! (nod)
