The heat is building even from within the 1922 committee.

Once Cummings is gone, i bet Boris is not far behind.

Conservative MP calls for Cummings to resign

A prominent member of the 1922 Committee composed of Conservative backbench MPs has called for Dominic Cummings “to go”.

Steve Baker, the MP for Wycombe and former Brexit minister, tweeted: "It is intolerable that Boris' government is losing so much political capital.

Three changes are immediately required:

Govt needs competitive expert advice
Govt must insist on high software engineering standards
Dominic Cummings must go"

In The Critic magazine, Baker called Cummings "brilliant" but wrote that allegations of a further breach of lockdown in the Sunday papers were a "disaster" and that he had clearly broke guidance which kept parents at home.

He added: "Dominic Cummings must go before he does any more harm to the UK, the Government, the Prime Minister, our institutions or the Conservative Party. It is time for Dom to resign so Boris can govern within the conventions and norms which will see us through."

Johnson and Cummings aren't the partnership everyone thinks it is. It's Gove who introduced Cummings to the Tories.

There was a post on FB about him, my thoughts below.
Sack him.... I cant believe they are playing this down...and sack anyone who is backing him. YOU cannot enforce this on us, which the majority are complying with for the protection of others and themselves, and then get this idiot thinking he can do what the hell he likes!!! Go, Go now..... disgusting abuse. Just dont let his actions stop us from doing the right things, the more idiots who take a gamble with theirs and our lives will have this crap going on and on for months (if your lucky - death if your not). I for one want to get back to some kind of normality, dont know about you, but I cant carry on without being able to work.

Didn't you say that Cummings brother has an interest in the Govt app, Kwacky?

I suspect that is why some Tory MPs are starting to get concerned.

They're all balls deep into making money. May and G4S was one of the worst ones recently.

They should make it law that an MP can only have one source of income.

If you think expect Cummings / Boris to be "shamed" into bowing to public outrage, maybe you should think again.

Lots of people will make lots of fuss over this revelation, but I would expect it to be water off a ducks back to this lot, like the Priti Patel complaints.
