Yep, they've got 10.

They're expecting a few more to leave Labour and the Tories this week.

Ian Austin is going this morning, fingers crossed.

My predictions for the next wave are Ruth Smeeth, Jess Phillips, Conor McGinn, Wes Streeting, Margaret Hodge and John Spellar.

What about the Tories? For this to work the conservatives need to lose a few otherwise they're going to look like they've got a decent majority.

All they've achieved so far is to make a no deal (unmentionable B word) more likely.

And don't think for one minute this has anything to do with the B word.

Labour has zero chance of winning the next Election. I suspect sometimes it’s much easier to just be an opposition party though the way they are going Labour soon will not even be the main opposition.

I honestly now think that those currently leading the Tory party (and that isn’t May or the cabinet) are just running the click down. If so we are all ****.

Wonder how long before Corbyn is challenged as leader?

Another MP resigns.

I see Pakistan and India are going at it. Hopefully they can keep it between themselves and leave the nuclear weapons at home.

I hadn't realized that Pakistan had nukes.

But they really aren't a factor in what is effectively just another Kashmir border skirmish....albeit of the airborne type.

India and Pakistan have over 100 each. I don't know what size nukes they are but even 200 crappy ones will do enough to feck up the planet for a few years.

Depends on whether your glass is half-full or half-empty, I suppose??

Under British rule, India, Pakistan & Bangladesh were all unified as one "India"....after the Brits left in '47(-ish??) the place went all to hell....but you can't blame the Brits for what happened afterwards.....they wanted self-determination & they got it....what they do with it is up to them.

Not quite world politics but it’s election day here for State level politics. My local candidate for the Liberal Party used to be a Penthouse Pet (lol)

The funnier thing is she’ll probably win the seat as this is a strong Liberal Party area and they usually win it with a 30-40% margin.

I’ve already voted, Jess has picked up some extra work an election offical and has been looking after pre polling till today. I tried to convince her just to mark me off so I didn’t have to bother but she wouldn’t. So when I took the bike down for its inspection I pre polled at her office. Today she started at 7am and won’t get out till after the count at about 11pm.

No I didn’t vote for the slapper. Though she does still look good for 61
