Weekend plans

Post by Kwacky »

So what's everyone up to?

Prepping for my holiday this evening, so the usual crap about getting insurance, booking a taxi, doing the ironing, telling my daughter we're only going away for 5 days etc.

Tomorrow I've got to drop the KTM off and pick up the Versys. In the afternoon I'm meeting an old school mate to watch some rugby, then back round to his parents house for a reunion party in the evening.

Sunday I'm taking Perkles to the pictures for a date (h) then maybe the pub afterwards.

We were going to borrow a friends house in the Lakes and go walking, but they've just given out severe weather warnings.

Also looking pretty sh!ty around the Peaks, so probably have a weekend on the settee watching and eating crap.

Finally getting round to doing the Silicone on our bedroom windows and if I do a good job I'll tackle the leaking shower screen.. if I don't do a good job I'll just ignore it until a leak appears in the kitchen below.

Gym tonight, maybe a pokemon raid or two and then a cheat meal on Saturday evening which is much needed after a very hungry week

Saturday morning I should be helping a fella get his 660 started.... apart from visiting my folks Sunday afternoon the rest of the weekend will be spent bonding with the new puppy.

With the weather warnings i don't think the bike will be out and i have both days off...

If its not too bad i might go out and test the new textiles, if i get bored.

Just been to the gym for a pt session and shes really turning the wick up so i must be doing okay, will feel it tomorrow.

A cockapoo .... my partner's choice but she and her family are asthma sufferers so the lack of shedding it's coat is a great benefit . After a life time of owning Staffordshire bull terriers myself the lack of weight and strength is going to take a bit of adjustment ]:)

Off to Mrs Gees Nieces wedding in the morning, only problem is it’s in North Norfolk and we’re the travel arrangement for MiL & FiL as well. We’ll all stay over, so we’ve already booked a decent B&B, so an easy trip back on Sunday with a decent meal in the evening.

This week has been somewhat taxing and tbh I feel like going to sleep for the next 48hrs, but best foot forward eh?

Being proper British!

Feck the weather, we've taken the caravan down to a site near Poole, staring the storm right in the eye while promptly giving it a knee in the knackers...

It is a little windy at the moment though (sweat)
