Weekend Plans

Post by kiwikrasher »

I get my weekend a bit earlier than you guys so thought I'd start the thread this time!

So what are you all up too?

Jess and I are off this evening to Mudgee for the 'Flavours of Mudgee Festival', a wine and food fest with the main road of the town all blocked off and all set up with stalls. http://www.midwestern.nsw.gov.au/commun ... -Festival/

Staying at this airBNB http://abnb.me/EVmg/CJ1UrTflDG which was a personal reccomendation from a mate I worked with at the Refinery who now lives up there.

Taking the bike up, about a 2 hour trip straight there, which due to having to drop the kids to the ex after work is going to be our first ride at night on the Multi, hope the lights are good!

Returning on Sunday the long way, linking up two great biking roads through national parks, should be about 4.5 hrs coming back and includes about 16 km of a gravel road.

Trip home

Sounds like a good weekend planned, Kiwi.

My plan consists on finishing the TV wall (we got the lights up yesterday) and enjoying the WiFi that's getting installed today !!! 100Mb Virgin Media

Sounds like a great weekend mate, enjoy it.

I've got a sports massage tonight, then probably hit the local for a couple of pints.

Mrs K has got a spa day tomorrow so I will most ly be doing the dad taxi thing.

No real plans for the day on Sunday. I wouldn't mind taking the STR our for a spin, I've not ridden it much lately, so if anyone wants to hook up for breakfast somewhere shout out.

Sunday evening is date night with Perkles (h)

Well made the ride up ok, but so many bugs!! Had to stop and clear it a few times. Lights on the Multi aren't bad but not overly fantastic either.

Just walked to a near by Winery for brunch, and low and behold they have a private motorcycle museum here, so I know what I'm doing after my feed!!

Hired a MPV for the weekend and we've taken the MiL & FiL away for a family day in Norwich today, then overnight in a hotel with dinner included.
Tomorrow we've got a family christening to go to in Wells next the Sea, there's a buffet afterwards and we get to catch up with all of Mrs Gees family who are littered around the Norfolk area and rarely get together, then home, return the hire car and prep for Monday.

Ended up coming home the direct way as the little off broke a pannier mount (doh) and I had to dodgy it up to get it home.

Although that gave us some extra time before we left and we got a Distillery visit in.
