I see even the Heysham ferry has been cancelled tomorrow evening.

Yep we had 19 degrees here according to the car. Very warm...just wish it will stay like this for the winter!

:? Yep.: The sort of weather that could be concerning for someone living in Essex with their bike strapped to a Oxford Stormex Parachute.?

I did worry about that, fortunately the wind at home won’t hitting much above 20mph, and even the the bikes are placed under a foliage covered pergola built on 6”x6” uprights that’s in the lee of our neighbours house.
They’re about as safe as I can make them.
