Nah...I've always liked that stuff...some of it can be boring, but it can never be offensive.

The last bassist I worked with was the same way....she plays in the Iron Maidens, and also plays double-bass for the LA Symphony Orchestra.

Plus she's hot, so none of that other stuff really matters anyway.

Was at croft today, the weather was dry, damp, wet, dry, wet, damp. So i needed to chill, with some tunes, rather than keep changing the wheels. My best relaxing option was, Booth and the bad angel. I never listened to the track day riders prediction on what the weather was going to do.

I think a lot of metal musicians will listen to at least some classical, they can be quite similar at times in terma of scales and chordings, its a good place to find inspiration and also relax compared to listening to metal all the time. Also generally i find they are 2 of the harder genres to play so think people that play one or the other or both enjoy the challenge

Bon Jovi just kicked in on the random Sonos play.

I've just lit the log burmer. The kids are in bed. Time for a nice brandy and some much needed chill time 8)

LOVE this band, to me I hear bits of Bowie, Floyd, Sabbath all rolled into 1 weird mix, dunno how this band isn't MASSIVE
