Trump's first move

Post by Kwacky »

He's threatened at least 3 countries so far, so who do we think he'll go for first?

Non of the above, it will be a small localised war (hopefully) with China over the South China Sea.

I went for Iraq. No one cares about the place, it's got no strong allies, it's been battered a couple of times in recent history and the US know how to make money from being there.

The US contractors can pull out for a few months.

Isn't China a nuclear power with missiles? I think he's stupid but not that stupid.

He will want a war though.

No he's very clever, just like China. It won't be a world war and it won't go nuclear, but it will be China.

Don't underestimate Trump and more importantly the hatred we are going to see from people like Steve Bannan. They are very clever people, and we're going to see real parallels to the 30s and 40s.

In the second world war everyone thinks it was the Nazis that exterminating all the Jews. Yes obviously they killed millions, but in the first few years of the war the vast majority of Jews were killed by the people of the countries Germany invaded. "Normal" people just like the people we've seen emboldened by the Trump circus.

Concentration camps and gas chambers came from the need for speed and efficiency, not from the lack of people in Europe willing to kill them.

Proxy war using Israel.?
That may best suit his proclaimed isolationist strategy, whilst allowing him to create some serious havoc.

Its quite astonishing some of the outright racist views i am hearing from people i thought i knew pretty well. And when you try and call them out on it, they deny they are racist but anyone who doesn't agree with their agenda is either a lefty liberal with no conviction or this latest horrendous phrase a 'snowflake'.
They just refuse to see the similarities to the 1930s but i guarantee they would be the ones who run a mile if called up to fight any war.

As to the choices of country there, any other than Iraq would send the world economies spiraling out of control until we are all bankrupt....but maybe that is Trump's plan.

LOL just clicked the link, you can call me Mistic Monty.

It's not rocket science though is it. Trump wants the labour, China has the labour, war stops the labour.

2 of the nations on that list are not overseas, they're on our borders.

Comparisons with Nazi Germany are always the
standard scaremongering tactic for some reason??
