Horrible stabbing pain in the edge of my right hand yesterday, I’ve no idea what’s going on inside it, checked online last night and couldn’t find anything that fitted the symptoms.
It’s subsided a bit today, but given what I do I’m still concerned.

Sounds like nerve irritation. It could be a issue with your wrist or your hand. Have you ever broken your wrist?

No, that would be an easy answer, I think I’ve narrowed it down to a problem linked to the tendons for the pinky and third fingers triggering something to do with the ulnar nerve. Not sure what and it’s still fairly random as to when it happens.
If it doesn’t clear up over the weekend I’ll be in the Doc’s on Monday.

Any shoulder or neck issues? Nerve problems up higher can cause odd sensations in the hands.

I got worse again on Friday so went to the docs.. he was not particularly useful and seemed to just focus on the sensitivity in my abdomen and put it all down to acid reflux.

Obviously that also accounts for the dizziness, fatigue and headaches. I'm back at uni today and feel the most normal I have in a week, still not doing the gym or anything tonight though but managed to lose 4lbs through the week through poor appetite.

Another sinus infection, coming thick and fast these days, this must be at least no.6 or 7 for the year. Got my follow up appt with the ENT on Thursday post the CT scan and should be booking in a surgery date to get my nose straightened and a port and polish done. Going to do my best to line it up time wise with work so I don’t have to go out for a swing and it doesn’t cost me any custody time with the kids.

Technically a cartilage removal/straightening and trimming of tissue to open up the airways.

I know my nose was a bit munted (been broken twice) but I was quite surprised how bad the airways were looking on the CT scan.

That’s what got me in this position in the first place. First break was at 15, smack in the nose from a mate that was totally uncalled for, he had major anger problems. Second was at 20, barrage of about 6 hits to the face, and in all fairness the first few were quite deserved (lol) I was being an annoying little prick while drunk on a ski trip.

Only had mine done the one time, during a little training "mishap"....my fault, and the bloke that did it was nice enough to snap it back into place for me, which stung like hell.
