(headbang) <-----this!

Some people are just so frustrating to deal with. They dont Lie per se, but they definatley withhold the truth and think that you wont find out.

"Yeah I got £50ks worth of savings for my deposit"

"Ok fine, can I see proof of that please"

"erm, well the thing is........"

EDIT: Fed up so booked tickets to see a blues guitarist I love playing a very small venue about half hour from mine, been waiting for him to tour for ages and this is going to be EPIC!

Spent the afternoon driving to cargiant to waste yet another few hours on that bunch of feckwits. Then drove across London to near Croydon to look at another car, decided it was great and bought it.

Fingers crossed for some cheap hastle free motoring

My last shift of a horror of a swing offshore.

Fecking place can throw it all at me today, I don’t care today, I’ll be home tomorrow!

No, it's a petrol / electric hybrid. Generally we don't do much millage with the family car, except holidays and weekends in the caravan so decided to try something a little different.

Did enjoy "paying" the road tax (giggle)

Neighbour has invited me to the local IAM social night.

Going to go as excuse for a few beers if nothing else but not sure it's my thing. Im not the world's best rider and could probably benefit from some refresher training but I don't think it's for me.

Well I shouldn’t have said that. Day started with an incident/permit breach On a job I was responsibly for. I didn’t do anything wrong and just had an interview with the boss who wanted to assure me I was not in the firing line. But two guys are losing there jobs, they’ve been here for 15 yrs each. Feel really bad for them, both nice guys, but they purposely broke the rules and put both their lives in danger.

Now waiting for the helicopter. Not a nice way to end the swing.

Youve had a hell of a swing by the sounds. If they have been there 15 years they should have known better.

They were Phillipino’s so for one language was a big factor, but still, like you say he knew better.

Managed 4 GnT’s in about 5 mins before I had to board my next flight. Got a company annual medical tomorrow so that’ll be it for the drinking.

Sounds like a really crap run Kk, but think positive.: At least the worst didn't happen & no one was actually hurt or killed as a result of their conduct.
That would have put a real taint on your shore leave term.
This way, just your medical "cough please" :D & you can enjoy life in the best place in your world with the best people as company.

The actions that were taken were dangerous. Working at Heights without correct measures, working outside their scope of experience/qualification, Working at Heights not covered in his permit.

How it got to that was not their fault alone. Their supervision layers have been stripped recently and they don’t have the support in navigating the paperwork we use and in a language that isn’t their first.

I think termination is harsh given mitigating factors, but they are contractors and the contract force is getting stripped as we run down to end of field life. Easy way to whittle a couple of numbers.

Working from home today while looking after MiniTroll, hes having a nap atm so managed to actually get quite a bit done, and then this afternoon I'm gunna take him to local shopping centre as they have some sort of dinosaur hunt on which means they have loads of life size dinosaurs there which he will love.

Went out to scrub the front hoop in and thought I would have a play in Race mode. Fooking hell its bloody mental quick :P

Not saying I'm any kind of riding god but been on litre sportsbikes for 14 years and like anyone can hold the throttle open in a straight line.......well I could do until today (blush)

Genuinely first bike I've owned that I will say is clearly too much and that includes late model Blades and ZX10R .

The power delivery from a 200bhp vtwin is just plain savage on a wide open throttle as it swings past 8000 rpm and scares the absolute shite out of me until I roll off. Absolutely absurd, hard to wonder how it's road legal.

Anything that makes a mad as a box of frogs 185bhp ZX10R seem boring is clearly just OTT (rock)

Finished my brew, time to go and scare myself shitless some more (fubar) oh dear (giggle)

Arguing with FC Moto

K: Hey! FC, thanks for the suit, but where are the knee sliders?

FC: Please send us photos of the defect, front and back

K: Hey FC, there are no sliders to photo

FC: Please send us a photo showing where the knee sliders are missing. We also need a photo of your invoice.
