Today some plans fell through then the laptop crapped the bed so £400 later I have a new one of those, holy hell it's fast.

Also did my first gym session in over a week, it hurt a bit but that's what i get for being lazy.

Back to PC world today, mum saw my shiny new laptop and decided she wanted a tablet, picked out a nice asus one and the thing won't connect to the wifi. Apparently fully charging the battery will fix it but i'm not so sure, can only try it before anything else.

Edit
Silly bugger here had the password with a lower case letter where it should have been upper case, why it said "verification problem" rather than incorrect password I will never know.

Also replaced the wipers on my brothers girlfriends car, I bought some for a friend who changed her car before I could get them changed so they had been under the boot floor out of sight, they're not a perfect fit but perfectly workable (a bit shorter blades) my good deed for the day as I didn't charge for them.

Correction it wasn't an outside wedding, they had the opportunity to have it outside but it was all weather dependant and they decided to have it inside. Great wedding with a great party at the end

PS one of the bride's maids was flipping hot, she had the finest body but she was wearing a pink bra which was very clearly visible even wearing a pink brides maids dress....she should of just gone braless

Feeling reflective. Two deaths in our extended family in the last five days, my Sisters BiL and my Brothers Wife, both from cancer, so neither unexpected, but still a shitty week though.

Fwiw I really hope that as a family our luck improves, as tbh I think we've had our fair share of crap for a long time to come.

P.S. As usual not looking for sympathy just shouting out loud in frustration.

A ride out to Wakefield to meet a friend then on over to Caton to meet some others before a good ride through the back roads past Ribble head viaduct to Hawes for dinner, then home again through the edge of Leeds.

Crossing the Pennines both ways was wet, very wet, Paul bottled it and took refuge in a church entrance. I should have followed his lead as my attempt at re-waterproofing my RST trousers obviously failed judging by the cold, wet butt and thighs, Just browsing FCmoto for some Gore tex replacements.

Been to the gym, washed the RST's in Nickwax again, ran an errand for my mum and now banging my head against a brick wall... Errm, I mean sorting the bike insurance. Wish me luck.

My current insurer was cool with all the "planned" mods (angel) until Re-map, Hastings really don't like that and refused to cover it.

Bemoto were very helpful and didn't care how many mods I had, mention 44teeth and you get £500 excess with £500 excess contribution so you get it back (effectively free?) and way higher cover levels. Just a sniff under £400 and everything declared is replaced like for like. Hopefully I will never have to test that.

Just a trip to the bank to arrange a trip to the bank to do now, they gave me a local number to call but it doesn't work anymore and I refuse to call the premium rate number.
