@ Deegee.......black pudding here is just called "blood sausage".....the Hispanic markets are pretty much the only place you can score it, but they do a very good job of it.

Egg rolls & sweet 'n sour.

I can’t speak for other countries, but I know Germany calls it the same - Blutwürst. It’s good there too!

That reminds me, how did you get on with cutting out the wheat from your diet mate.?

Had a family Sunday lunch for 8, that’s us three, my brother, my oldest son with his wife and my grandson, a roast chicken dinner with as many extras as we could fit on the table, including stuffing, sausages, leeks in cheese sauce, cabbage, peas and carrots, roast potatoes etc, then a steamed dark chocolate pudding with chocolate sauce and double cream, coffee, liqueurs and petit fours to finish. Mrs Gee produced a magnificent feast and we were all very replete come the end. (blush)

She’s already got a full time job, but bacon sarnies and cake etc will be available for any Slappers that turn up here on a weekend, just give her some notice.

See you next summer folks! 8)

You’re right - I haven’t had that for ages, I’ll remedy that in the next few weeks. (y)

Currently enjoying fresh sourdough, I love it, but can rarely get it, our local mini mart has started selling half loaves of it in white, brown and rye variants, I’ve got the rye at present and it’s excellent. So often I’ve bought sourdough only to be disappointed, but not this time, which probably means the shop will stop stocking it shortly....

I went to this place last night: https://www.zindiya.co.uk/pages/menus" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

They serve the food tapas style so it comes out as it's cooked (apart from desserts), which I prefer.

My mate and I had the mogo chips, chicken tikka, chili paneer, chicken kati roll and papri chat, followed by rice pudding and carrot cake. I know the last two don't sound very indian but they were.

Bostin grub.

Ordered pizza from this place: http://www.aliciasmicrobakehouse.co.uk/#pizza" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It is a pizza kitchen in someone's house.

I've gone with a spicy special

The Spanish Inquisition! Confess or be burnt at the stake!! Spicy hot Navarra chorizo (extra), mozzarella, manchego cheese, gorgonzola piccante, chilli flakes and Alicia's own chilli oil.
