How fecking fast are they going? Shakey has done a 114mpg average speed lap which is faster than any current MotoGP circuit.

Well yeah...but does the course have as many turns???
The AMA series had bikes topping out at 209mph or sommit daft...then they started to slow them down after some poor guy at Fontana ate it big time. It was the part of the track that goes onto the NASCAR oval that was doing them in.
Think the poor guy died, if memory serves.
