To be fair seems a sensible idea to get one. Would save wear and tear on your car and if you buy a cheap enough scooter it could turn intk a throw away if it breaks and replace it again. I can see why you are getting frustrated when you are guzzling fuel at such low speeds, really no point to be chucking away money on a frustrating drive to and from work

If you're still considering this, if it were me I'd go against what I normally say and forget about the looks.
A scooter is a scooter, it doesn't matter what it looks like, the amount I saw in London last weekend was only equalled by the amount of times I thought "Meh, it's just a scooter".

So buy one that's good value for money and economical rather than one that looks "good".

Just my opinion though...
