New Triumph Tigers

800 has been revamped. 200 changes by all accounts.

Major update to off-road capability and all road, all day comfort
•More than 200 upgrades to the chassis and engine
•More responsive, optimised Triple engine
•New shorter Ratio 1st Gear enables enhanced off-road traction, low-speed manoeuvrability and acceleration
•New lighter, free-flowing silencer with improved exhaust note
•New “Off Road Pro” riding mode, with a choice of up to six riding modes
•New five position adjustable screen

New high level of state of the art technology
•New adjustable full colour TFT instruments
•New signature LED lighting
•New illuminated, ergonomically designed, backlit switchgear and five-way joystick control
•New updated cruise control
•All of these add to the Tiger 800’s extensive core state of the art Technology

Major Triple engine update – more responsive, character and sound
•Major engine update of the Tiger’s signature, optimised Triple power plant

If i was in the market for a tourer I'd seriously consider that with the new dash and build quality.

They start at £8,499 OTR. which is cheaper than my 765R.

Yep, I could be tempted to switch over when I've had my fun with the Versys.

There's a few adventure bikes to look at. I see they've upgraded the Tracer if you want to stick with Yamaha. KTM are bringing out a 790cc parallel twin, so it'll be like a hooligan version of the Versys. There's an adventure version of that due for 2019 and BMW have upgraded their middleweight GS bikes.
