New lid time

Post by Kwacky »

My Nolan N86 is a couple of year old now and has done about 25,000 miles, so it's time to start looking for a new one.

Needs are:-
  • sun visor
    good field of view
    pinlock
    under £200
    preferably white based colour scheme
I might get another Nolan but the 86 is discontinued so it would be the N87

Another option seems to be the HJC IS 17 range which appears to tick all of the boxes and comes in under £200.

I have 3 no HJC lids, they are fantastic value and great helmets IMO.

More than you wanted to pay, but would really suit the bike and you can't put a price on vanity.

I've asked the sportsbikeshop if they'll do a price match. £120 is a massive bargain IMO. Worst case scenario is I don't like and send it back.

You will look like the Rozzers (happy)

Flash people on the commute and it will be like parting of the seas as you glide through the traffic (giggle)

Get that one, and then put a red cross on it.....puts a new twist on that whole ambulance-chaser thing.
