Slightly off topic - how did the SBS RS compare with Brembo SC? I've used the SC pads and loved them but they didn't last long

Very similar. Didn't test back to back but was happy with both and RS are half the money of SC

Rode a bit more committed yesterday. Bike was occasionally running wide on corner exit so added 4 clicks of rebound damping to the front and transformed it (lol)

Spoke to JHP about the brakes this morning, Blade. They believe it's caused by the pads having to run right up against the discs due to the ABS. This means the fluid gets hot and can boil. A flush and bleed should cure it apparently. Not easy to bleed due to the multitude of lines and joints.

Bought some SBS RS pads for the 748 whilst I was there.

Not a full on review more a bit of banter till I find enough time to write a review.

So what's she like.

Well she's like the friend we all have. Handsome, muscular, loud and full on and gets all the attention from the ladys. If you go out for a few beers it can be tiring, it will be noisy and everything will have to be done at ten tenths or he's not happy. It wont stop at a few beers and a happy ending thats mr Jap IL4, NO it's going to be beers, shorts, shots, nightclub and rippers, the full Monty at full speed and full intensity.

It will be expensive, it will be naughty and it will hurt, but that intense night out is going to be the ride of your life, welcome to the very focused, very bonkers but very fun Ducati Panigale 1299 (raaar)

It's going to be a rollcoaster ride 8)

PS. Rossgo get a test ride (happy)

The only good thing about getting them dirty is spending 2-3 therapeutic hours getting them nice and shiny again. 8)

Can tell by the wear on that tyre you are enjoying the torque punching you out of corners (rock) that band of wear about a 1/4 of the width from the edge appears on my tyres too

Must admit I'd love to try out one. I don't actually think I'd fit on it anyway as I have sat on the 899 and also the 959?? But although they are narrow it's just too tall for me. Wouldn't mind a ride on an R1 but that is wide and my little legs just don't allow me to have the confidence of dealing with it at low speed or standstill
