Went over the 5,000 mile this morning. Nothing has fallen off yet so that's good. The engine has loosened up a little, you can get small wheelies from it now, nothing Frankie style but the front will lift in 1st and 2nd.

I adjusted the handguards, levers and cables on Sunday. It's made a lot of difference as I'm getting better wind protection now and the clutch is easier to use, the lever was too flat before.

I really wanted to take the Street Triple but the weather looks wet. It'll have to wait for next year.

One advantage with the Versys is being able to load up a bag and throw it in the top box. I did think about using the panniers instead but I've only used them once and I'm not too comfortable with knowing how wide they are. The top box is big, hopefully it's not too windy. At least I can throw some extra stuff in like allen keys, puncture kit, lock, spare gloves, rohypnol, etc

The green machine did ok today. It tops out at about 120 mph just when the Duc and Yamaha are finding their feet, so it's like watching a Star Wars scene as the fleet hits warp and I'm in a little Tie Fighter.

Running over the Mountain felt weird on a non sports bike but it's still great fun. It's a capable bike.

Averaging 58mpg now. If I could be arsed I could work out how much I'm saving a year compared to the 46 mpg I used to get with the SX

Good kit. Had them on the last 3 bikes.

Radiators are silly money these days and easily damaged so a must habe accessory imo.

Evotech rad guard fitted. Nice snug fit with a decent gap for air. The usual quality from them.
