seen a dyno video on face book. Its impressive if true as is not just peak power looking at the graph its all through the rev range the bottom end is impressive.

GSXR 2017 Dyno comparison with 2017 ZX10r & 2016 R1 all standard bikes as they arrive from the dealer , ran on my dyno with the same rear tyre to keep it a fair comparison.

Red line is a 2016 R1
Green line is a 2016 ZX10r
Blue line a 2017 GSXR 1000

Looks like it may become a GSXR cup at race meetings across the country.

Brad Clarke you ready to take some more orders !!!

They seem to blow the others away in that graph.

I always have a soft spot for gixxers, my first bike was a '97 Reg 600 SRAD.

Those figures and the graph lines look very impressive.

It does look cheap close up though.

Yep....looks like it's 95% complete.

It'll sell well, despite that.

The GSXR will be the one to ride I reckon, variable valve Timing is the future :D . I actually quite like the looks, it's more like the MotoGP bike than the others.

I would be waiting for the revision update though as I bet they get issues with the ball bearing wearing grooves into the channels which eventually stop the VVT from working

I think its a technology that has been in common use in cars for a while and they have developed it in Motogp for bikes.

It's not the finish that would bother me, it's that silencer.!

That silencer suggests good potential for future gains. I can see me having a go on one in the future too (clap)

Tbh the gixer doesn't really make more power than a 08 Fireblade (9year old tech) until north of 10k.

The top end is impressive especially compared to the other too though.
