http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/bikes/2 ... lade-leak/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; foes into some more speculation about how close that bike looks to the present model.

I must have a keen eye as most of the items I spotted which made me comment about the similarity to the current model are mention in the article you post.

I guess it saves them a massive amount of money just to update the current model and make it Euro4 compliant.

It's going to need to be an exceptional ride if it's little more than the previous bike with new electronics and fairing. That said they sell seem to see plenty of new ones so I guess whilst it still has a decent market why spend cash on developing a new bike?

I do think we may be entering an age where manufacturers make a top of the range sportsbike for mostly road use and then a silly expensive race bike with lights to homologate Wsbk bikes.

Brillant summary of how it's going to be I reckon Duke (y)

Still never been a better time for sportsbikes. It really is a Golden Era at the moment.

Exhaust can explores new heights of naffness....but that's easily switched out.

The wheels look great.

The decals make it look like a Hot Wheels toy....they're simply awful......those alone would put me off...or at least would be first on the chopping block.

But overall I think it makes a great canvas from which to make your own ride. I like it.

I think it looks quite modern. But only time will tell if people will like it as a super bike

It will be a good bike and sell well I'm sure.

Maybe not class leader but still a good bike.

Not sure how many on here have owned Blades but the two I have owned have genuinely been the best 2 bikes I ve owned and I would imagine other owners would say the same. I d have another in a heart beat.

They do seem to generate loyalty amongst their owners.

There never going to having a following like Ducati but they make good, reliable bikes that just work. To some that's boring but to others that's a big plus. Each to their own I guess.

My cbr600rr was pretty much faultless, only a couple of minor issues. Good all round bike.

Yep....I think if I was going to commute on a bike, a Honda would be my first choice....especially if I actually wanted to keep my job/arrive at it. Or a Yamaha...either one would do the trick for me.

I heard the insides of the fairing were dirty.

Not to the naked eye. They were only dirty if you took them off, put them in the bath and showered them down.
