Went to re adjust it today and looked down to see a frayed clutch cable ... oh crap could have been worse it could have gone last night when i was testing the bike. So had to chase round to get one as I'm dropping the bike off tomorrow for its trip to Almeria it looked bleak but managed to get one from Blackburn. Bit of a whirl wind day but its all together and working fingers crossed.
Fwiw when I fitted the GB engine protection to mine I discovered that the bottom support strap that fits over the casing bolt interferes with the clutch cable. I took my Dremmel to the bracket and ground away the plastic so that the cable was no longer touching it.
Have fun in Almeria, you lucky c,,,,,,, chap.!

Yes I think this is partly to blame StMarks. I also believe the bike has been sat for a long period out side with no protection and this has took its toll. Im just lucky A it did not snap when i was riding B i saw it before i took it to Spain.

When i get back I will give it a bit of a fettle as on the road at least I'm enjoying riding it see what its like on track.
"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.

Rode it in the rain.

Good weather protection. I might put the screen up a little bit higher next time it's raining. The bike ted to drift a bit on the wet roads but that's down to the tyres more than the bike. Plus my lack of confidence in the rubber didn't help.

I do like the look of that Versys. I like that style of bike because of the high seating position for visibility and the legroom.

It is very comfortable. I didn't have any issues with the SX either commuting or touring, but the Versys is the next step up.

Top of the range one. I've looked about last few weeks. Had to visit my mom in East Angular this weekend so stopped off at the Mcn festival show at Peterborough as RST had a stand there.

They had 2017 suits used for the catalogue photos for £395. (Usually £700).

I tried really hard to get more discount but the sales guy wasn't having it and to be fair it was a bargain. Got some new sliders included.

Took it to the till but the MD was working on the till. Said it was good to see the top man working the tills and had a chat with him about the suit. And he knocked me £50 off the price. Absolute bargain.

Carbon shoulder sliders, elbow sliders ( look cool but useless to me) and hydration pack on hump on back. The quality is top notch even compared to Dainese and the like.

Loads of riders using them in BSB this year.

One thing i forgot to mention we were driving down some nice fast flowing roads and what did we come to just after a bend....a broken down land rover with a bunch of pikey blokes pushing it to the side of the road...where was the f&*king warning before the bend.

Becareful out there I was following my dad and he's not a fast rider bit if I was going by myself or following a quicker person it wouldn't of ended nicely.

My heart jumped up to my throat and I seriously thought I was going to see an accident really take it.easy out there guys

Looks to be about 130ish, but I've only done light to light a couple of times.

I'm sure that will get a bit better to when I get used to the acceleration and stop riding like a knob...

130 miles sounds good to me. It's about time for a break anyway.
