Just a 50 mile bimble, after adjusting the chain the bike is better to ride, it's crisped up the gear shifts from not bad to perfection... I really must stop being lazy with that as this bike will stretch it a bit more than my 675 did.

As for the Roadtec 01 being slow to turn in, I must just be used to it as I found a couple of roundabouts close together and the bike seemed to 'flip-flop' as fast as I asked without diving too far and having to be held back, the PR4's did that on my Multistrada and I found it hard to trust them.

Put a camera back on my bike after some tw!t in a Merc twice tried to take me out last night, the second time on purpose.

He's been reported to the police.

Thanks. Accidents and mistakes I can shrug off. Being a prick and attempting to harm me and other road users I can't. Muppet had his young son in the back of the car as well.

What a complete dickhead (swear)

Hopefully the Police fry him sadly he probably won't even get a slapper wrist.

Shame you haven't got video footage or a dangerous driving charge could have been pursued. He endangered not only you but himself and is son and all other nearby road users. What a complete cock end.

The Police said they'll have a word but they can't do much unless he owns up to it.

I don't want a camera on my bike but needs must I'm afraid. Hopefully I'll never have to use it. Unless of course I spot that naked neighbour again :D

it's a route I use all the time on the way home. Big A road crosses over another (A45 and A46). There is a slip road off the A45 on to the A46. I don't use the slip road because people stop on it at the roundabout. It's got a massive thick white line to let people know it's a slip road, but people still stop.

So I ride down in the right hand lane to the roundabout, stop at the roundabout, then turn left. Effectively I am riding along the slip road but this is quicker.

Yesterday I did just that. So I'm now on the second part of the road, after leaving the round about. The road on to the A46 is two lanes and I'm in lane 2. This is a raised road, you descend on to the A46.

I'm along side a Mercedes, silver, 62 plate. He swings across towards me. No warning and a sudden movement. As he starts I am positioned where his boot ends and rear door starts, so I need to move. Thankfully I was going quicker than him so I go over to the right and move forward, sounding my horn and using the hi-beam flasher. He carries on moving right and I'm going past his window, looking at him and the road. He spots me. He moves to the left, then swings over to the right directly at me. I almost collide with the front corner of his car. While all of this is going on I'm making sure I stay on the tarmac. I also need to look out for traffic on the A46 as I'm about to join it.

It always amazes me how fast the brain can work and how much you can appear to do when you're in danger.

Anyway, I dodge him and continue to accelerate to get out of the way. I move into the middle lane, which is the lane I've joined. He then races up to my backside, I have to kick it down a gear and throttle hard to stop him hitting me. I get some distance then move over to the left hand lane. I tuck in and keep an eye on him. He's now in lane 3 but not moving fast. It's a 70mph road and he's doing about 50mph.

I know the road well. It's always busy. As we hit some traffic I filter past, then about 3 miles down the road I pull over at a layby and wait for him to go by so I can get a look at him and get his reg.

I spot him about 10 minutes later stuck in traffic on the M40 as I filter by.

He's such a fecking throbber
