Good cider, then crap wine with dinner (freebie) and a small calvados with an espresso to finish. Mmm.

Chicken dinner, (butcher had run out of gammon joints), apple and blackberry crumble and cheese, it was lovely and completely guilt free as I’ve worked like a Trojan for the day and a half and burnt way more calories than I could eat in a single meal.

Monkey 47 and tonic, with a bit of Vinho Verde thrown during dinner,

Heavy, motorised gardening at my Mums old house, in preparation for it changing hands week after next, proper slog getting it sorted out.

I’ve spent years back in the 90’s with the old house brick phones glued to my ear sorting other people’s problems out, we had to swap ears after about 15 mins due to the uncomfortable heat it induced, now I might be wrong, but in hindsight that wasn’t good for me.
