Re: Stunning Honda

Its strange really because to me most older bikes look ..well just old. Some still have an appeal i must admit but they are few and far between. I remember when i had my Suzuki Bandit back in the day and went and test rode the Daytona. I couldn't ...

Re: It's time!

I think your right.

I'll be surprised if I get out at all much now until next spring when we get some warm weather. Maybe a couple of Short blasts will end the season for me and the bikes will be getting tucked up for winter.

Set up is key in any quickshifter, Blade.

A lot of the Ducati forum rave about the work of a guy called Chris at X-Bikes in Cambridgeshire. His q/s set up is apparently the very best.

Re: 2016 Kawasaki ZX10R Unveiled - Full Details

Engine and frame dimensions are identical on both bikes. New bike has different gearbox ratios and suspension specs and a higher rear ride height. I think Blade is right in that it's more a substantial update than a brand new bike. Funnily enough ...

Re: 2016 Kawasaki ZX10R Unveiled - Full Details

... active suspension upgrade on the 2016. There is an Ohlins ECU which talks to the kawasaki ECU and this was available as a retro fit to 2011/2012 bikes (Ohlins ECU standard from 2013 onwards) so Im really hoping it will still work.

Good shout. Something I noted is if we change bikes it should be easy to swap over the bling.

I'm hoping the semi active ohlins shock will still work in conjunction with the ohlins and oem ecu's.

Personally speaking and I'm sure Perkles will agree it's good to see our bikes are not so much out of date. Proves how good the 2011 bike was that it only needs a few revisions to stay relevant.

Re: Motorcycle Valeting

Another thing to bear in mind, is people like me, D6. R1ckster etc use our bikes all year round. We're out early and home late. These aren't toys were using, it's an effective tool for getting into work. We can't pamper our bikes each time we take them out. That's ...
