I get them off to school tomorrow and then drop them to their mums tomorrow evening. I know I am lucky the big block of time I get with them but it'...

As a dad my one bit of advice is don't miss an opportunity to be a there as a dad if you can help it. This part of their life passes quicker that you think and you'll be thankful you got to share it with them. Even if he is too young to remember the bond will be stronger.

There are a few Aussies on the Versys forum who have their bikes spending most of their time off the tarmac. All I did was post edited that pic so it'...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Went down to get roadworthy and rego done (MOT and Tax). On the way home decided to go a bit further up the mountain and had a copper pull out and sit behind me. So decided to take a side road that I'd been told had a few good bends. I planned to just go down to where it turns to gravel and head hom...

Spicy meatballs. Well they were supposed to be balls but completely fell apart while cooking them. Normally make my own but tried these store bought ones as they were Asian chicken ones, thought be good for a change. Won't make that mistake again. Luckily the mash made up for it and was useful in de...

Re: Why you shouldn't repair a bike tyre
So can you temporarily repair a tyre with an external plug to get home then have that removed and an internal plug fitted and be OK or once the temp plug has been used the tyre is done?

Thoughts go out to all affected. Those trapped would've been in a hell of a situation. I do live fire internal firefighting training every 2 years and even under training situation in full gear and with fire fighting equipment it's a scary situation.
