Every test I read says the 848SF is a better bike than the 1098 and should be cheaper to run.

Never say never, Monty. Though I suspect a Hypermotard is a better bike. Again though I think I would choose the Husqvarna if I wanted the supermoto stylee. .

The problem is that at even 100 mph you are covering ground as such a fast rate that anything going wrong in front of you, is on top of you in seconds.
