... generally everyone is still doing a lot more than 9 to 5. Staff see 9.30 as a late start and 4.30 as an early end to the day, despite it being their contracted hours. It gives staff a feeling of flexibility.

And that isn't to say that to some its a genuine illness, but there are many whose life involves eating all kinds of shit, abusing their bodies with drug, cigarettes and alcohol and watching TV all day. And then expecting all kinds of free help from the NHS when they actually don't ...

I like the idea of privatising this stuff. I want people to be well reimbursed for the work they do, rather than rely on their 'moral goodness', or whatever.

Enjoying Fathers Day spoils, got a rather good wake up call from Jess (blush) and then the kids gave me their presents with included a yummy block of chilli chocolate and pineapple lumps from NZ.

Now just waiting as Jess and the kids are sorting me bacon, eggs and coffee in bed.

The wigs are being phased out. High Court judges in all courts still wear them for trials but not so much for hearings. It's not uncommon now for judges and barristers to be seen without their wigs on.

The price of Motogp tickets - I paid £15 for the practice/test day 2 yrs ago they are asking for £26 this year , luckily I have been able to bag some for tomorrow only for free ( ish, I promised a few photo's on their facebook page ) , courtesy of the nice chaps at Pure Triumph Woburn .

... suffered a similar fate.: The scroates nicked a JCB & used it to remove the ATM (& half the wall of the bank). However they got away with their haul in our case. Most annoyingly is that HSBC decided that they wouldn't bother re-opening the branch, dam inconvenient of them IMO.
