I don't believe car manufacturers want to spend R&D money on petrol engines. Every pound or euro is currently spent on electric technology only.

I think its getting more difficult to make a 1000cc road bike that also works well on the track especially as the WSBK rules mean the racebike has to be more like the roadbike.

Another 19mph average journey home with the car guzzling fuel at 30mpg.

The bit that interests me most of all in all these is 100+mpg. Some are claiming 120mpg.

There is a Multi identical to mine with 20k miles and a full Termi system on it up for £7k on the ducatiforum.

I think you made the right choice. A 5% increase is hardly worth all the extra hours and hassle when the tax man keeps half of it.

KTM Superduke? The latest Speed Triple RS gets some cracking reviews. It proved to be quicker round Donington than the Street in Michael Rutter’s hands and I notice that Fast Bikes has it quicker round a kart track than either the Superduke or Tuono. Still think that 1050 engine is probably the best...

If i get a scooter it will be a 250 minimum, they're better value used as there's much less demand for anything over 125 and the extra grunt would be nice to have while still being cheap to run. If you do a search of ebay, there are 125cc scooters with well over 25k miles and still selling for a go...
