I love my speed triple, so I would say try the new one. But I'm biased.
Thruxton is meant to be good if you want a naked retro bike. Or at least just worth a demo just for kicks.
I'm sure there are other naked options come new model year if you are thinking of waiting.

In fairness I've dealt with Germans and Chinese, and the Germans play it straight - they'll try and screw you but be upfront about it, on the other hand the Chinese always seem to have a completely different agenda to the one they've given you.

... to wash it down. The afternoon was a mackerel fishing trip out of looe harbour. Real good family fun and caught about 30+ plus mackerel and a few other species. Had a cheeky pint in a harbour bar before home to light the barbie for a lovely fresh fish supper. Chilling with a beer now 8)
