20-mile bike ride.
(gasps)
....Was going to be a 40-mile ride, but I'm just not feeling it today.
Still feel good though, and glad I went out. I wouldn't care, but the weather was perfect.

Re: The new improved fitness thread
PT decided to push and see what I could bench.
Happy with 60kg even though it was a single rep. Finished off with a set of 10 at 30kg, so reasonably solid progress.

In other news I got too much FOMO with everyone eating hot cross buns when I can’t (yeast intolerance) even though I used to love them. Searched for sourdough versions but nothing available locally. So researched making my own sour dough versions (which i can tolerate) and am ...

It's a t-shirt!!!
It has my Native American name emblazoned across the front in massive "I'm not wearing this!"-type letters.
A nice thought though...I know who sent this, I'll have to give her a call and say thanks.

Took it out for the first time this year yesterday.
It was cold, slippery, and there was gravel everywhere. Bloody good fun though.

Nope.
He's right though, given a while they'll fade...at which point their entire reason for being there will also fade, and they'll just look like an asphalt patch/road repair.

... level of significance to it, a shooting here is not much more notable/newsworthy than a wreck on the freeway. It's all over the news this morning though, big time. Also, I was mistaken earlier when I wrote that this shooting was the result of criminal activity close to the parade. It wasn't....that ...

Re: The electric car revolution
I think it’s fair to say off peak times would be better for the grid.
Tbh I’d get solar if I had an electric car and then charge whenever.
People won’t be happy with limitations on the times though.

Back on shift today, didn’t test positive at all and feeling a lot better. No 100% but my role hasn’t been backfilled so the management and myself were keen for me to be back out. In a mask till the cough disappears though.

I'm back to work tonight after a few days off with a flu type bug, running a fever, shivering and having sea legs was not fun for a day or 2, it did give me some time to revise my CV though.
