... on now 10 plus years olds, which is getting a little older for Ridgebacks, but my my they have enchanted my life over the last 10 years or so. Great post itchy, we should celebrate what we have. We all have different lives.

I think it does emit a signal, but not one that can be picked up from a great distance. More like a locator beacon for when you're searching the crash site, not something that'll show up on satellites or anything. Of course, I could be totally wrong, but that's my understanding.

Sounds like a great idea, but I can't do this year with the wedding etc. Would love a Scotland one too. I really enjoy Isle of Mann, but exploring other places would be good.

... won't have the spudlets around and then can be a bit more gung-ho with the pennies. There is part of me that wishes I'd kept my D650 as they are a great looking bike even now. I don't regret my current bike, quite the reverse but new toys are a luxury when you have a nice toy already.
