Just popped to BMW on the off chance and managed to take the X1 for a drive. Very nice to drive, better Diesel engine (2.0 turbo diesel) than the Ford, felt more petrol-like. Steering was great. What I found were really good were Rok Straps. They're elasticated rather than being just webbing straps.

Thread revival.

Turns out I won a camera while out and about today. It's a Canon EOS 50d. I'm very much an enthusiastic amateur and am after some advice about lenses...same brand as the camera or aftermarket? Prime or zoom lenses?

Day out in Skeggy with Mrs, Boy, dog, Brother, nephew and niece. Not sunny but nice to get out.

Chicken flied lice. Not as nice as what the takeaway makes but satisfying enough.
