I'm getting ¾ of job interest coming from contract at the minute with most of those being inside IR35. I'm swaying away from them currently but they are appealing for sure given the increase salary.

Yup.. home insurance rocketed for us too.
What really takes the piss is that my Dad pays less for all his insurances despite everything being much higher value... £90k car, £350k house, etc, etc. Even his energy bills are less. When you have money, everything is cheaper.

It's across the board. The insurance companies didn't make enough money last year. They need to increase their net worth to cover potential losses, so pretty much all insurance is going up. It's being pushed by the re-insurers, the companies who back the insurance companies.

... couple of movies in a side room while parents could unwind and laugh with similar age humans. All in all it was a success with a few hundred pound being raised for the two charities we supported for the last 2 years.

We are a step closer to being done here We are at a export rate that we can't maintain enough feed to onshore, so they shut down to us for good at 9pm last night. next time they start up again will be from feed form a different field ...

I'm in the office today. There's lots of work being done to reduce our working space from 3 wings of the building down to 1. It looks like they've accepted there's no chance of people returning to full time office life.
