Re: Australia
A mate's sister lives in the outback somewhere near Perth. I don't know how often they do this but when his parents were there last time, the pest controller came round to spray the eaves of the house to get rid of the creepy crawlies. Next day apparently the verandah was covered in dead spiders th...

Having to do a good session of run related yoga stretches every day just to prevent locking up, running in your 40'...

My last night shift!! Yea-fooking-hoo!!
Was up at 5pm this evening, and next time I see a bed, it'll be my own and I would have been up for 30 hrs. Just have 1 helicopter ride, 2 plane flights and a 1.5 hr taxi ride to get thru' to get there.

Re: Ethanol
So its not added to higher RON petrol? AKA SuperPus? Ok thats in my bike now. Car is Diesel. Problem over for me :) Not normally dude, in Oz it's only in the 91 RON at 10% blend (E10). My new car has massive warnings not to use ethanol added fuels and that's a new car FFS. Bad idea all round :( Cau...

Yup, yup, and yup.... This topic grates me to no end, after 7 yrs of Refinery Operations experience I can tell you we hated the crap, it's a dangerous solvent, and required a special foam agent to fight fires involving ethanol as it breaks down the regular stuff. Australia has been adding it for yea...

Re: Salary Sacrifice scheme (cars)

I thought I'd look into buying a nice estate or small 4x4 that could pull the caravan. So looked at things like ...
